Are you pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, etc? Our club has you covered! We go over a variety of professions and specialties to help show students the plethora of possibilities available in medicine. We bring in former transfer students who have successfully gotten into PT/OT schools, MD/DO schools, and more!

We host events that provide hands-on experience for skills applicable to careers in healthcare. TransferMed hosts suture and personal statement workshops, BLS certification, tourniquet use training, and more. Many transfer students come to UCLA without many opportunities to get interactive experiences in healthcare. Our club hopes to bridge this gap through our workshops open for all students.

Giving back to local communities not only helps with your mental health, but also creates a more vibrant community! TransferMed gives back to the community colleges that have helped us grow and local food banks through volunteer events throughout each quarter.

Building a welcoming community fosters better networking skills amongst students. In such a competitive field, TransferMed hopes to build a sense of community through social events within our club as well as with other clubs. Get to know other UCLA students and have a fun time with us!

Our club provides Q&As with medical professionals to answer any questions students have about their professions. We also offer mentorship through TransferMed Bridge, an alumni mentor-mentee program. Through TransferMed Bridge, UCLA transfer alumni who are pursuing higher education guide prospective applicants on ways to successfully achieve their career goals.
